Job Description

 We are currently seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our team as Youth Services Officers. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering impactful programs and services while fostering positive relationships and facilitating engaging activities for young people in Fitzroy Crossing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective programs and services for young people.
  • Build meaningful connections with young individuals, families, and community partners.
  • Lead interactive activities and workshops aimed at promoting personal growth and well-being.
  • Provide guidance and support to young people facing challenges or seeking assistance.
  • Advocate for the needs and interests of young people within the community.

Please note that this position is based in Fitzroy Crossing with an hourly rate from $33.56 - $40.17, and superannuation (11.5% & up-to 7% Council matching). Desired Skills and Experience

  1. Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.
  2. Knowledge in the use of information technology programs (MS Suite) and recreation equipment.
  3. Current Working with Children Check to be maintained while employed by the Shire of Derby/West Kimberley.
