Job Description

Do you enjoy supporting your community and have administrative skills? The Shire of Derby/West Kimberley is looking for a motivated Administration Officer to join our team. In this role, you'll help keep our operations running smoothly by providing key administrative support. You’ll assist with tasks like managing schedules, preparing documents, handling travel arrangements, and keeping records up to date—all while ensuring everything is handled professionally and accurately.

You’ll also play a vital role in delivering great customer service, both to our internal staff and the wider community. This will include working closely with different stakeholders, assisting with procurement processes, and managing important documents like agendas and meeting minutes. Maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail will be essential as you help ensure the Shire’s operations run efficiently.

Please note that this position is based in Derby with a base salary range is from $63,503 - $69,943 plus generous allowances (up to $15,104), superannuation (11.5% & up-to 7% Council matching), and 5 weeks annual leave.
